Serviced apartments are the most popular choice among GCC and Arabic-speaking families staying in London. They combine the space of a home — separate bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room — with hotel-style services such as reception, cleaning and security. This page explains what to expect, the sizes available, and the areas where we book them most.
Why families choose serviced apartments
- More space than a hotel room, so families can relax in the evening instead of sitting on the bed.
- A full kitchen means breakfast and simple meals in the apartment — practical for long stays and for families with dietary preferences.
- Privacy and security in residential buildings, many with 24-hour concierge.
- Better value for stays of a week or more compared to separate hotel rooms.
Apartment sizes we book
| Apartment type | Best for | Typical size |
|---|---|---|
| 1 bedroom apartment | Couples and small families | 1 bedroom + living room + kitchen |
| 2 bedroom apartment | Families of 3–5 | 2 bedrooms + living room + kitchen |
| 3 bedroom apartment | Large families and multi-generation trips | 3 bedrooms + living room + kitchen |
Where we book serviced apartments
Most bookings are in central areas that are safe, walkable and close to transport: Knightsbridge, Mayfair, Kensington, Marble Arch, and around Hyde Park. We can also arrange stays near Harrods and close to the main hospitals for medical trips.
Prices and seasons
Prices vary by area, apartment size, season and length of stay. As a general guide, central areas cost more in June–September and around the holidays. See our London apartment price guide for weekly estimates by area, and our apartment vs hotel comparison before deciding.
How to book
